# デボス加工

”デボス加工”とは、紙や革などの素材に凹みをつける加工の一種で、金属製の凸版と樹脂製の凹版で素材を挟み込み、圧力をかけてデザインされた形状に素材を凹ませます。

”デボス加工”は、デザインに奥行きを持たせる事で、立体感や高級感を出したい時によく用いられ、用途としては、名刺･カード･包装紙･書籍の表紙などが挙げられます。

”デボス加工”とは逆に、樹脂製の凸版と金属製の凹版で素材を挟み込み、圧力をかけてデザインされた形状に素材を凸(つばく)ませるせる加工を”エンボス加工”と言います。
