History

1932	Founder Tomeichi Nakamura established the Nakamura Pipe Manufacturing Factory in Taisho-ku, Osaka. Started manufacturing and sales of welded steel tubes
1944	The factory was renamed as a corporate organization to Daiwa Steel Tube Industries Co., Ltd.
1970	President Matsuichi Nakamura appointed
1973	“Daiwa Z Process” is the world's first patented continuous hot-dip galvanized steel tube manufacturing method, and the first line was installed at Sakai Plant. Started selling "Post Zinc"
1977	Headquarters moved to Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka City The second line of “Daiwa Z Process” was installed at Sakai Plant.
1981	Unity Inc. established
1987	Kanto Plant in Tochigi Prefecture completed as a production base for East Japan
2003	Shinichiro Nakamura appointed as President; Daiwa Steel Tube Industries Co., Ltd. and Unity Inc. acquired ISO9001 certification
2004	Sale of "Perfect Post Zinc" inner and outer surface hot-dip galvanized steel tubes Super Light 700/STX700/STXR700 registered at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s “New Technology Information System (NETIS)”
2006	Acquired certification to label products with the new JIS mark.
2007	700N-class structural high-tensile carbon steel tubes certified as a building material designated by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Headquarters functions consolidated into Tokyo Headquarters East and West Sales Headquarters established in Tokyo and Osaka
2008	Changed the name of Unity Inc. to DSTI Holdings Ltd. Perfect Post Zinc acquired the Construction Technology Examination Certification from the Public Works Research Center.
2011	Perfect Post Zinc registered at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's “New Technology Information System (NETIS)” Headquarters relocated to Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture Tokyo Sales Office established in Chuo-ku, Tokyo
2013	Daiwa Steel Tube Industries Co., Ltd. merged with DSTI Holdings Ltd. Started manufacturing and sales of steel conduits
2016	Hazard Simulation Training Center established at the Headquarters Plant
